Project Guides - Human Resources

The Human Resource Departments not only have a significant role with your main website, but also with any secure staff portals that we build for your organization.

Public Website

Content Goals for Public Website

  • Jobs
We need for you to indicate to us how you wish to handle your online job postings and applications.  If you wish to utilize a 3rd party solution for posting job openings and managing applicants, please let us know this and what the URL is for us to link to. For the rest of this section, we will assume that you will use our job system.
  • Job Application Forms
    • Note: our job
    • We typically replace PDF forms for job applications with online forms that are a mobile friendly (PDFs are NOT mobile-friendly).
    • Each job applications has its own database for storing applicants. This means that you can (and should) separate job applications going to multiple departments, and job applications for positions that have varying requirements.
    • It is possible to have just one job application form for all positions, even though we do not recommend this.
    • Existing PDF job applications can be made fillable after download, but this circumvents the website forms that have their own databases.
  • Job Postings
    • Please provide your job postings to us so that we can upload them for you.
  • Your Tasks:
    • Provide us with a spreadsheet of all of your departments, groups, committees, and boards.
    • Provide us with a spreadsheet that lists all employees that will manage content int he website, and department heads.
    • If we are building an Intranet, we will need spreadsheets of ALL employees.
    • Review the HR department's public-facing website content and review it for completeness and accuracy.
    • Upload any new or updated content to EvoGov so that we can incorporate it into your new website.
    • Discuss the Intranet, and let us know what your plans are for it.

Secure Staff Portal (optional)

Many of our customers opt for a second website from us for a Secure Staff Portal, also called an Intranet.
We typically create these at a sub-domain of your main domain name. So the domain might be something like " https://staff.yourdomain.gov" .
