Website Content Manager
EvoGov, Parker Colorado
We are looking for a Content Manager to join our team.
You will be responsible for entering and editing new website content and for migrating existing website content from older websites to newer websites that we build for our local government customers from across North America.
We are looking for someone with a healthy balance of creative, editorial and technical skills as well as strong time-management abilities, careful attention to detail, and thoughtful client communications.
You will need to demonstrate strong writing and communication skills It is a bonus if you have experience with website content management in the past.
The schedule and number of hours worked is negotiable. This is a can be either a part-time or full-time remote position.
Essential Duties:

Learning to use all of the features of our government website management system. Training is included.

Migrate content from older websites, to new website projects that our team is building.

Copyedit content to ensure overall accuracy and consistency.

Contact clients with content submission requirements.

Collaborate with our team on solutions and ideas.

Basic graphic design work (resizing photos, changing resolution of images, etc.).

As you progress, you will;

Learn to support EvoGov customers through our live chat system.

Learn the website content requirements for ADA/WCAG (content requires for visually impaired website users).

Other projects as needed.
Prerequisites:
Work Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with general office computer applications.

Knowledge of website content management systems is a big plus.

Able to manage own workflow while coordinating with project teams and management on schedules, requirements, goals, and assignments as needed

Willing to take direction if and when needed, but also work independently

Able to respond positively to customer and peer criticism and feedback.

Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

Able to effectively manage relationships, both internally and externally.

Display a dependable, strong work ethic.
Nice to Have Skills:

Experience shooting and editing video.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Able to multitask, perform efficiently and well under tight deadlines
