We are the only local government website provider that includes all of our CMS applications with website hosting.
Several companies in our industry (namely Granicus, CiviciPlus, Acella, and others) have CMS applications that they purchased through company mergers and acquisitions.
Applications for Agendas, Parks and Recreation, Reservations, and 311 request tracking are good examples.
Those vendors then charge additional fees to use these applications, and they are not tightly integrated into their CMS solutions.
To make the acquired applications work, these vendors will use popup windows and sub-domains when using the apps because they are not integrated.
In some cases, the applications are even written in entirely different programming languages (i.e. ASPX vs. PHP).
This means that they will never truly be integrated with their CMS until they are completely re-written.
Who pays for the re-write of all that code? Their customers.
With our platform, all features are integrated into a unified CMS. This makes managing the code better for our programmers.
The benefit is a faster turn-around time for new features, patches, and customer-specific custom integrations.

There is currently a massive wave of mergers and acquisitions happening right now in the local government website services market.
The downside of this happens after a company is acquired by a venture capital (VC) company.
In speaking with their unhappy customers, they tell us that the company innovation and commitment to customers dies.
A quick look at in-house employee reviews online confirms that the discontent isn't just from customers, but from staff within.
As we grow and eventually look for an investment partner, we would rather not take outside investment if it means sacrificing service and innovation.
We discuss our new applications in the "Labs" section of our website.
New applications that we launch are automatically added to your CMS.
We call ourselves "EvoGov" because the sites we build evolve with new features as the CMS improves.
